Troy, who feeds his adopted greyhounds Tink and Conrad with his earnings as general manager of Southland Park Gaming and Racing, is overseeing an era of growth and expansion at the West Memphis, Ark., home of greyhound racing.

Southland Park Gaming and Racing provides the adoption kennel facilities and other support to MSGAO. The 58-year-old operation proudly proclaims it is the home of the world’s fastest greyhounds.

Southland currently is in the midst of a $37 million expansion. When the new Sammy Hagar-themed sports bar and gaming space are completed in December, parent Delaware North Cos. will have invested $147 million in the historic gambling venue.
